About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and talented Account Manager to join our Queensland team. Reporting to the Regional Engagement Manager, you will take over an existing portfolio of Real Estate clients, primarily based in central Brisbane. This role will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio as well as a small amount of new business development within your geographic area of responsibility.

Working from home, your day-to-day will be self managed, varied and busy. Your primary objective is to ensure that Direct Connect is front of mind for your clients and they are advocates for the Direct Connect brand. You will have ownership over your portfolio and freedom to do what is required to grow your business.  

The role will see you work autonomously however you will always be connected to the business. We will provide you with all the technology and tools of the trade to operate as a high performer, including phone, laptop, fully maintained company car that you can use for personal use too, a supportive manager as well as the backing of strong marketing, excellent brand and a large resourceful group of businesses that will listen to your ideas.

About You

Charged with maintaining and growing your existing portfolio as well as achievable acquisition targets, you will be a solid performer and a natural when it comes to dealing with people. You are also good at managing information and understand that data allows you to make informed and commercial decisions. Attending industry events and networking functions form part of this role, so we’re after someone that is charismatic and confident but can deliver on what has been promised.  

Our ideal candidate will come to us with solid Account Management experience, ideally within the Real Estate industry. We’re also keen to hear from Account Managers that can demonstrate solid experience and success from other industries or high performing Property Managers with a solid personal brand and Real Estate network to leverage off.
